Antimicrobial Laminating Supplies:
National Laminating introduced at the June APIC conference (Association for Professionals in Infection Control &Epidemiology) antimicrobial laminating supplies to help reduce the spread of harmful bacteria, mildew and fungi by laminating hospital documents with antimicrobial laminating plastic.
The antimicrobial laminating film has a silver based additive in its recipe, which is manufactured by AGION Technologies. Silver ions are continuously released onto the surface of the laminate and consequently interrupt cell reproduction.
